Residence Inn by Marriott Lexington North

The size and layout of our suite were wonderful. The staff was courteous. Love the amenities. However, the sofa bed didn't have a pillow. The sofa bed mattress was very stained. The chair in the living room area was also stained and outdated. There was a floss pick on the floor and trash in the bathroom. (Not really bothered by the trash.) Our door would only close from the outside by using the key to unlock the lock. There was a very cold draft from the Crack in the door. We had to ask for an extra blanket because that area was so cold. We were happy with the room overall, I just hated letting my daughter sleep on that gross mattress in the cold.

I wanted to give them a 3.5. ||The suite was ok. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff is very nice. The breakfast was awesome. They do a nice job on breakfast. The coffee is good. ||I posted pictures of the things that need to be fixed for the price you pay for the room. ||The carpet had gum stuck in it by the door. (No pic). The access panel in the closet is in BAD shape and maintenance knows better. I can’t believe I am the only one saying anything about it. (See pic). The cabinets had visible dust on them. (See pic) ||Would I stay here again? Yes. It is a very convenient location. They just need a maintenance supervisor and a housing supervisor to do “spot checks” to ensure cleanliness and aesthetics.

Positive: 1. Cleanliness was great. 2. The front desk and management staff was great. Cleanliness is always the most important category to us. No wonder that there were many Japanese guests eating breakfast with us. Negative: ""

I was here for a week for work. The location was less than five minutes from work, the wi-fi was fine, the beds were comfy and housekeeping was supposed to be every other day, but they serviced you every day unless you put the "No Service Needed" magnet on the outside of the door. The rooms need some updating, but the convenience to my work, the breakfast(usually scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, protein, carb) was great.

I called the hotel and had the most wonderful experience with Front Desk Ashley! She is everything you want as an ambassador for your property! She embodies hospitality so wonderfully! Her welcoming friendliness and professionalism are a refreshing delight! As a former healthcare professional, she wasn’t sure if she would like the hospitality industry but as it turns out, she LOVES it! Thank you Ashley! This digital world needs your warmth and humanity!!!
