Staybridge Suites Lexington by IHG

I have seen other reviews saying the staff was nasty. That was NOT my experience. The staff, at least from the little interaction I had with them, was very polite. The problem was just an overall sense of cleanliness. It was clear, for example, that the cleaning crew did not vacuum under the cushions of the pull-out bed. There was dust caked on the air vents in the bathroom. At breakfast, several of the bagels had mold on them. On top of this, the suite we stayed in, it was simply dated and lacked the modern accommodations you expect. For example, there were absolutely ZERO USB ports for device charging. This is the 21st century! The TVs themselves, though flatscreen, had no options per streaming, mirror casting from our smart phones, etc. On top of that, the TV in the bedroom had bad

Positive: Overall the hotel was very nice. Rooms are in good condition and beds are nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Negative: The AC unit in our room was very loud every time it turned on and would wake us up.

This hotel might be dog-friendly, but it is not senior-friendly nor ADA compliant. I had been led to believe that I was booking a handicapped room, but when we checked in the room was not available. We had to bring our toilet chair to use; the shower was a bit difficult as there was only a short grab bar. Someone helped us with our baggage going to our room, but when we called for help checking out, the manager and others refused. We called IHG, the company that owns this hotel, and they could not help us. We happened to encounter firemen that were there to fix an elevator, and our neighbor (!) To be fair, almost ALL the staff was very helpful, except for the woman at the desk, who refused to help us and threatened to call the police. We will never stay at a IHG hotel again.

This was a really nice place to stay, the only problem I had was the mattress on the couch pull out bed was very stained on both sides with crumbs on it and a happy new year head piece someone left behind was still on the mattress when opened up. Other than that I really liked the place. Would stay there again.

Beautiful place and the room was perfect with a nice kitchen area. Bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was good too!
