Residence Inn by Marriott Lexington City Center

My boyfriend and I were visiting the Infinity Skybar and came down to the Residence Inn lobby to wait for our Uber. We were standing near the entrance with our friends, who are a male/female couple. We were all together as one group. An older male employee approached from outside and immediately told my boyfriend and me that we needed to leave. He did not address the rest of our group. When our friends clarified that we were all together, he told them they were allowed to stay inside, but that my boyfriend and I had to leave. We were not being disruptive, loud, or disrespectful. We were simply waiting for our ride and just looking around. Being singled out while the straight couple we were standing with was told they could remain felt discriminatory and incredibly uncomfortable. Regardl

Wonderful suite. Staff were nice and friendly. Beautiful decor. Nice building. Pillows weren't the most comfortable but no other complaint. Nice kitchenette are with even salt and pepper included. Great visit.

As a Platinum Elite Bonvoy member, I am well aware of the standard of service from Bonvoy hotels. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Residence Inn in Lexington has left me deeply disappointed and I will never stay at a Residence Inn again.||I stayed 2 nights on a business trip. When checking out I went to the front desk to get the bill and review charges. Everything was fine until I received a second bill, hours after checking out, with an additional charge for a bottle of water I never had. I called the hotel to find out what happened and have the charge dismissed, but more concerning ask why someone was able to charge a bottle of water to my room when I checked out? I was told by Guest Services that housekeeping reported the water missing in my room. I told them that was odd beca

Residence inn is a perfect hotel with big rooms and nice breakfast!They have friendly staff as well and I highly recommend everyone to book this hotel whenever coming to lexington 🥰🥰

For an expensive property these folks could do much better. Four things stand out. 1. If you like staying in a dog kennel this is your place. The property is "dog friendly" -- a real problem for those of use who require cleanliness and don't want to sleep in a bed where Lassie slept with her owner the night before. The property owner prioritizes dogs over people. 2. The internet was pathetic. the owner has configured their authentication system incorrectly and I had t o drop some of the security on my computer to allow access -- something I really To not want to do. The wi-fi never did work but I found a live Ethernet jack in the room that did (thank you for providing ethernet, however.) I was able to connect my router that way. It was also s-l-o-w. 3. The hotel charges $22/day for parking
