This hotel sucks. Been here since October for work in the area . On first floor as a paying customer u want to relax and enjoy your stay. But they seem to put people above us that stomp on floors been to front desk a numerous amount of time complaining and no one does anything. I'm a paying customer as well and deserve peace at night while im Relaxing before work and management does nothing. Not to mention we have caught several mice on glue traps and the room had a major roach problem. This place only cares about taking your money and Not you enjoying your stay. I travel for work and spend 10 months a year in hotels this one here is by far the worse I have been in and I have traveled for 28 years and never dealt with anything this bad. Our family’s 11-day stay at the Residence Inn McDonough, Georgia has been nothing short of a blessing. We originally had a reservation at the nearby Courtyard Marriott but left after just one night due to its rundown condition and lackluster management. Thankfully, the Residence Inn welcomed us with open arms—earlier than our original booking—and completely turned our trip around.||From the moment we pulled into the beautifully landscaped, tucked-away property, we felt at ease. I arrived tired on Thursday after traveling from North Carolina for apartment hunting and checked out Friday morning. At check-in, the front desk attendant quoted me a rate of approximately $125, plus an additional $20 if I chose to use any hotel amenities. She also mentioned that one buffet was complimentary. However, my final bill reflects a total of $170.While booking online, the front desk agent intervened and offered me the AARP rate. Hotel had a clean, fresh smell. It was not overpowered with an artificial scent trying to cover an old musty dirty smell. That is very important to me. Staff was WONDERFUL. Parking sufficient. Room nice, modern, and clean. I was extremely pleased with this hotel because some of my recent stays with the Marriott hotel chain has been disappointing. That never used to be a problem a couple years ago, not sure what's happening with the quality of Marriotts. Lucky for me, I know anytime I visit ATL, this Residence Inn McDonough will be my goto hotel.

Great hotel and service. Everyone is super friendly. Breakfast was always great. My only negatives are rooms could use some additional repairs or cleaning but still 4 stars. I do wish that people with pets would pick up after them. It really makes me mad as I always pick up after mine.
