Days Inn by Wyndham McDonough

Im sharing this with a little more bias because Im used to staying in holiday inn expresses and those equivalent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The overall smell of the place especially on the third floor was bad. The room was the same. We ended up buying air fresheners for the vents and once the room circulated with some fresh air it got a lot better. Id recommend the building work on their hvac settings and maybe running the room units before guests arrive. Great value for the money, it seemed clean enough other than yellow streaks on the wall in the bathroom. Its McDonough and I just expected more out of the Wyndham brand.

One thing I have found to be a part of a CHoice Hotel ownership franchise, "every owner is a natural at maintanance". NOT! All Sleep Inns have aunique bathroom design and layout, this includes the color schema. Here, there was no blue tape applied, as the green entry back wall, spread onto the white adjacent wall, some 2 inches Ugh!... The chaulking around the wet areas? Well perhaps more is not beterer, or at leats use a trimming tool to make eveything neat. |Here the breakfast was the oddest I have ever, to date, in all my travels, experienced. |The breakfast egg omlets were individual wrapped in ceran wrap!!??, Same with the sage patties!!?? aprox 5 each in the side cooler with the 1 gal., of 1% milk and the few options of yogurt. ||You just cannot make this stuff up!! Positive: Nothing Negative: Unclean, people smoking inside, security doors propped open with rocks by staff in middle of the night, stains on sheets, broken toilet seat, carpet was disgusting

My truck broke down 3 days ago and I needed a hotel room while my truck was in the shop. Nil is the on-site manager who has been most hospitable. The rooms are all renewed with new mattresses. The price is adjusted for truck drivers also no matter what day of the week. Thanks Nil for your service and hospitality!
