Residence Inn by Marriott Amelia Island

Amazing location, we stayed a night here before moving to a different hotel for a conference but it was GREAT. The free shuttle service was amazing, the staff were so incredibly nice. The rooms were a little older but the bed was so comfortable (more comfortable than the Ritz where we transferred to). Breakfast had a great selection and we were able to walk to V’s pizza, there in back in 10 minutes and walkable to the beach. Great time, if we come back that way we will stay again.

We recently stayed at the Residence Inn Amelia Island for three nights while in town for my cousin's wedding, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish!||Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from a studio to a one-bedroom suite. The room felt brand new -- spotless, spacious, and so comfortable. They even left two snack packs in our room and gave us a bottle of champagne at check-in since it was our anniversary weekend -- such a thoughtful touch!||One of my favorite details was how festive everything felt. Our stay was comfortable, peaceful, and genuinely pleasant from start to finish. The property was clean, well maintained, and the rooms were spacious, which made it easy to relax and unwind. Daisy checked me in and was extremely polite. She even delivered extra towels to my room promptly without hesitation. That level of attentiveness stood out. Robin showed me around the hotel and made sure my wife and I felt familiar with everything. She is professional, friendly, and carries herself with confidence. Because of her, I truly felt at home. Overall, a very positive experience. I would absolutely stay here again.

One of the worst hotel experience that I had. Rooms are not well cleaned, very old and not well kept. I found hair in the shower and lots of gunk in the shower and restroom. I called the front desk because I could not find bottled water in the refrigerator like any other hotel that gives you a complementary water and the lady at the front desk told me that they only give complimentary water for Marriott members. I was a member but I did not have my account information yet but I was really thirsty and I told her that and since I have already changed into my sleepwear I asked if they can bring a bottle of water to my room just until in the morning. She told me they can't and asked me to go downstairs to the lobby to get water from a vending machine. Horrible guest service on top of everythin
