Beachside Motel

Positive: We loved being right on the beach and not having a ton of people at the pool! Negative: ""

First time to Amelia Island and to Beachside Motel and will be back! I always enjoy the hospitality and atmosphere of small privately owned lodging and all our experiences with this property reinforced that perspective. We had one of the suites directly facing the ocean. Room was comfortable and had full kitchen though the bed mattresses could be upgraded. View from the balcony was amazing and path directly to the beach right in front of the building. Sunrise from the room and the beach incredible. Pool was open but too cold this time of year. Coffee in the lobby was good and the pastries were tasty. Beachside Motel was a fun escape and a relaxing destination.

Good location for the car show. Reasonable rate for the event. Staff was super courteous and helpful. My room was spotless. The only ding is that the AC unit was pretty noisy.

Absolutely wonderful stay starting with the staff. Made everything easy and was so nice to talk to. It is truly beachside and the walk out to the shoreline made for spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Amazing views and convenient to all the places to see and eat on the island. The room was clean, comfortable and everything you need. The bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows! I am a pillow person. Will definitely come back.

Went through booking.com. And the lady at the counter was very rude and said, well, it takes 12 hours. So your room wouldn't even be ready until tomorrow. Because they're in India. So right off the bat, she sounded racist. And there was no solution. 12 hours would be literally 11 o'clock tonight. They won't respond back to our messages so far. I'm going by the way, and took our $130. So I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody! Now i'm forced to sleep in my car in the cold with my wife! Update booking dot com.Got in touch with the hotel. They refunded our money back. But that being said they should take their hotel off of booking.com. Because they don't wanna work with third party apps. So keep in mind if you're booking through an app to go stay at that hotel. You're gonna have a very ha
