Fort Clinch State RV Park - Atlantic Beach Campground

We camped for a few nights in October at a tent only site on the beach loop. Good: Super clean bathrooms Night sky with stars Proximity to the beach Good weather (in October) Bad: Ants. Too hot and sunny during the day. Bring shades for sure, and plan to be away from the camp during the day. There were a lot of coastal sandbur (my kids call them spiky ball plants) and cacti, so wear closed toe shoes at all times.

Spacious, great views,conveniently located! The bathrooms are super clean, nice showers. There is a washer and dryer. The campground is off to the side of the park. There is almost no traffic. The beach access and beach are very nice. The night sky is pretty dark and stars very visible. All the campsites are good.

Fort Clinch is a great Florida state park. Tour the fort and museum, sunrise and sunset on the beach, biking and hiking trails, historic Fernandina and Amelia Island are great for food and fun.

Wonderfully relaxing time camping, beach combing, biking, and fishing with friends. Sites are an good size and flat with few trees. Bathrooms are large and well tended. Plenty of hot water. Will definitely be coming back

A big thank you to the volunteers who are keeping this park so beautiful. Super clean bathrooms/shower (except for the campers who leave it in a mess!!! 😞). The volunteers cleaned twice per day, 7 days a week. Nice beach and plenty of trails to wander.
