Regency Inn Perrysburg

Driving by the place, it looked run down. But surprisingly the rooms were very nice. They were spacious and clean. The owners were accomodating. It looked like they were trying to restore the place. It isnt a 5 star hotel but cheap, safe and clean.

I made the reservation for this hotel, because of the various positive ratings. The ratings are grossly mis-leading. The room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. The hotel didn't have a working ice machine. The air conditioning was sporadic at best, and extremely noisy. There was an odor in the room. This was not the experience I was expecting from the reviews. Will not ever go to this hotel again and suggest others to avoid.

The hotel manager was very accommodating and friendly. Make sure you call and let them know when you'll be arriving because the lobby closes each night. I forgot my phone charger when we left and he called to let us know. You can tell they are really trying to give a good experience at this hotel. Obviously it's older and not a great location due to the town not being the greatest and kind of in the middle of nowhere. It feels a little like Bates Motel with a creepy cornfield right next to it. It did smell slightly like smoke which is due to certain kinds of people not respecting the rules of the hotel. We spoke with the manager about it and he apologized and asked if we'll be OK with our room. We were fine with it. He said he's going to have maintenance scrub the carpets after we leave. T

Very nice motel to stay. Clean rooms. The rooms are big and have a refrigerator and microwave. Very well lit up at night and safe. Very quiet and no riff raff. Mike is a very kind person and customer service oriented. Fast check in. The locations is like being in the country. Denny's restaurant is not far away. Definitely recommend.

The room was neat & clean, it was quiet there and I felt safe. They provide a small coffee pot, clean towels & toiletries. There is a Denny’s nearby; just down the road, 2 minutes away. The owners (a husband & wife team) are great! They are very nice & helpful if there is something you need. The cost of the stay was reasonable and highly recommended!
