Budget Inn Toledo Perrysburg i-280

This property reminds me of the old adadge "don't judge a book by its cover". It might look scary to some, when pulling in the parking lot, and seeing ashtrays around. However the rooms seem to be immaculately clean. I stayed in room number one, with a king bed. The room smelled clean, and everything seemed perfectly clean. The bathroom had super good hot water, and the shower was wonderful. They have full service cable TV from Spectrum, and they have an alarm clock radio, which you don't find at many properties. For me, the fan on the air conditioning and heating unit was a little loud, even on low. But, because I was there in mid-September, I didn't need the air conditioning once I cooled down the room. Positive: I loved finding a cozy room for a great value. Nothing fancy...just a clean comfortable room with a great bed, and a wonderful shower. I wasn't looking for breakfast, as I already had other plans. Alarm clock radio, cable TV and awesome free Wifi.Great! Negative: Only thing a bit off putting for me is seeing multiple ash trays on the bench outside of my room. Other than a bit unsightly to me, it didn't affect me personally since my room had absolutely no scent of any smoke.

I needed a budget hotel for a weekend trip to Ohio and was struggling to find something that wasn't over $100 a night. I had to book a bit farther out from the event I was going to and ended up here. It's off the 280 and an old motel. The owner has done a good job of keeping it in good working order. I think I spent like $70 ish a night for two nights? There are two truck stops (TA and Love's) about a mile away with some quick food in the area. While it's not close to much I gave it 3 stars for location. The owner is on site and is very personal, friendly and cares deeply about his property. He's a nice man who literally does all the things himself. Cleans the rooms, checks people in and handles light maintenance. Overall a good experience.

I think this was the cleanest motel we have ever stayed at--no dirt, no grime, no cobwebs, just super clean. The room was not large, but the bed was comfortable enough for an overnight stay. It was also surprisingly quiet for being right next to a major interstate. No breakfast, but there are several truck stops near by. I'd definitely recommend for passing through. Trailer parking.

Very very clean. Nice lady at reception. Great shower. Comfy bed. Perfect for our needs—passing through. Although near highway it was quiet enough. Conveniently near hwy interchange so easy on and off. Good gas prices nearby. Would stay here again.
