Red Roof PLUS+ West Palm Beach

I stayed at Red Roof PLUS+ West Palm Beach for a night, and it was a comfortable experience. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was surprisingly cozy. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. It’s a convenient location if you’re passing through or need to be near the airport. Nothing fancy, but it served its purpose well for my stay.

The good thing about this hotel is that the staff are very friendly and attentive. The front desk staff and maintenance staff were all very nice and responsive. Other than that, it was dirty, the rooms were not well maintained, and there were a few incidents that made us feel unsafe. The shower curtain was torn, the beds were uncomfortable and we could feel the springs through them, the carpet felt gross and dingy, and the room smelled like sweat and old feet. The stairs, common spaces, and pools had trash and dirt on the floor. There were police officers there at least one night, and our first night here, a car that was driving slowly around the parking lot tried to get me (a woman) to come over to their car for god knows what. I would avoid this place at all cost.

Positive: The location was good and it looked OK from the outside Negative: I was really surprised when I got there how deceived I was by some of the people who rated this hotel. Anyone who has been there and spent the night would know that there is no way to give this hotel of high rating. This is your warning.

Had a booking incident that required some added stress, however it worked out. The front desk clerk assisted happily doing what was possible. The property accepts pets, no charge. There are guests coming and going all hours and appears to be long term locals. Overall, budget and pet friendly, hot coffee in the lobby with vending. My room and bed were clean, and that's what was needed for a night.

It was DIRTY, hallways dirty, room was dirty, it smelled horrible, there were candy wrappers in drawers, roaches in the room. Unfortunately i didn’t read the google reviews before hand. We didn’t stay. We immediately walked out and asked for a refund. All the front desk lady asked was if we touched anything so that they can have someone else book the room, when we said no, she said “ok i trust you, im too tired to go check” just horrible all around. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are other decent places that are also affordable.
