Like the location, only being 10mins from the national harbor, and 20mins from downtown DC. But you really pay for what you get... when I arrived the lady at the front desk was helping someone in front of me. I waited quietly. When that customer left the lady at the front desk immediately went on her phone, ignoring me. I had to speak up for her to notice me. I came back an hour later to pick up some food I ordered and she was fast asleep. Didn't even notice me in there. Nor notice if food was dropped off. Very unprofessional and unsafe. Room was disgusting - water damage, mystery stains, and there was still used toilet paper in the toilet. The insulation in the room also sucks. My aunt booked this room months in advance because we were coming into town for a family funeral. We arrived a little after 12:00 AM, and we had already provided an ETA for our late arrival. When we got there, the front desk clerk refused to check us in. She said she had already run the night audit and could not check us in anymore. She then told us our reservation was canceled because we didn’t arrive exactly at 3:00 PM, which made no sense since we had a confirmed reservation and notified them we would be arriving later. Because of this, my kids and I were left with nowhere to stay in the middle of the night while in town for a funeral. We ended up having to sleep in the MGM Casino parking lot, and the next morning we had to wash up and get ready in the casino bathroom. While we were

The bad: TV is broken. Stains on the walls and ceilings. Hot water takes 2 years to start working, and the screw to turn the water on in the shower was loose. Air conditioner has 3 years of caked on dust. Furniture has definitely seen better days. Cigarette burns and holes in the plastic on the air conditioner. Broken electrical sockets. Safe is broken and wont lock. Tub has stains, the water takes a long time to drain, and stuff floats up from the drain. Shower gel is watered down hand soap. (Luckily there was an additional tube of shower gel.) The good: Sheets, bedding, towels, and sink are clean and well maintained. Bed is comfy. Pillows are a bit squishy, but are usable. Positive: The convenient location was the only reason for the hotel stay, nothing else was good. House keeping needs to improve their quality of materials. Negative: The room was a discount special without a refrigerator or microwave. Necessary and basic needs for a hotel stay. To upgrade, there was an extra charge with the additional room insurance fee. An unexpected cost, not quoted on line before booking.

Decent hotel. Not the best but my wife and I usually stay here because it’s located across the street from a shopping center with restaurants and department stores. The staff was somewhat unfriendly as one girl totally ignored my wife who asked her a question. The lady who worked in the lobby the day we left was the only one who seemed professional. Our towels weren’t replaced unless asked. The outlets were loose and weren’t very good at charging our devices. Would I stay here again? More than likely. But RRI needs to hire folks who treat their customers with respect and fix their electrical outlets and USB chargers.
