The hotel itself was very nice and had a great location right on the water. The rooms were comfortable and the views were excellent. Unfortunately, there were several issues during my stay. There was jackhammering in the building throughout the day, which made it difficult to relax. The bar and dinner area were also not open, which was disappointing. The bathroom could have been cleaner, which took away from the overall experience. On top of that, breakfast was an additional $18, which felt pretty outrageous for what was offered. If these issues were addressed, this could be a really great place to stay.

Stayed at the AC by Marriott in the National Harbor from 8/23 - 8/24 for one night. The rooms are very compact. We had a view of the garage across the street. If a view is important to you make sure you pay for it, otherwise your view will be facing the top of the garage across the street. My first choice was the Westin which is across the street from the AC. It has either a strip view or river view and it was actually cheaper than the the AC. I selected the AC because it was highly recommended by a relative. I should've opted for my first choice. You live and learn..........||Upon check-in there is a $50 deposit. I was advised the deposit would be released upon check-out. There is also a $25 parking fee. I was advised the parking fee would be deducted from the deposit. However

We decided to stay at the AC hotel for my husband's birthday weekend. When we walked into the hotel room, we realized the room was realized the room was small but clean. One of the 1st things that I noticed that I was not a fan of was the bathroom. The sliding door to the bathroom and shower and shower area was not suitable to offer privacy. If two people are staying in the room together they will get to know each other intimately if they already aren't given the lack of privacy. In addition there were no available toiletries such as shower gel or shampoo available. I don't doubt that I could have called guest services to have it brought up, but I hate doing that type of thing unless absolutely necessary. Drawer space was little to nil but fine for my one night stay. The bed was

I stay in Marriott hotels quite a bit for work and family travel. I stayed at the AC Nat'l Harbor a couple months back, and it's one of the few times I've wanted to leave a review. First, the cleaning staff seems to be doing a phenomenal job. The moment I walked into the room, the cleanliness and fastidiousness of the bed-making was sincerely impressive. That's not a common thought when walking into a hotel room. Second, and almost most importantly, shout out to Maria (I REALLY hope I remembered her name!). She was at the front desk the morning of my departure. I had some business center/printing questions/needs, she was amazingly attentive, welcoming, and patient (I'm usually a low maintenance client, but not THIS particular morning:). I sincerely appreciated her demeanor and treatment. I

Recommend high-floor rooms facing the river and/or the Wharf entertainment town center only. Excellent General Manager, and front desk staff (Maria) in the mornings - very courteous and friendly customer service. The afternoon and evening front desk staff are competent, but not as polite or friendly as the morning staff, and may not be suitable for the hospitality business. The hotel and rooms are spotless with excellent maid service. The breakfast cafe should be revamped entirely to offer both a limited buffet and a traditional American breakfast menu. Few people are spending money on its current breakfast format. Parking is expensive and should be validated commentary for Marriott Bonvoy members.
