Harborside Hotel

The only issue we had is that both our room keys had to be "reset/recharged" multiple times during our stay, which was very annoying. Need a better system. The BIG suggestion would be to offer a hot breakfast, since there is no breakfast restaurant within walking distance, leaving IHOP as the closest, most convenient restaurant for breakfast...every day for 4 days straight. The shuttle (van) was not in service on the low-occupancy days, but the hotel did provide LYFT. The van, itself, was a little difficult to get into for someone with any type of knee or hip issue, and Im 63 in good shape...I imagine elderly people may find it even more difficult. A true "shuttle" with steps would be best, especially when advertising shuttle service to 3 locations. The MAIN reason we stayed at Harborsi

I was impressed with the room. It looked cleaned. The ac/heat in room worked well. Busy area with food and shopping options. I generally travel with my own towel but left it in the room after ai showered. I didn't want to drip water on the floors so reqched for a towel. ...to my disgust. They serve breakfast, but was I late, very limited. They get a huge plus for the baked cookie smell drifting thru their vents. Love love

The accommodations were comfortable. Liked the feel of the room. The refrigerator kept us up during the night making strange noises, but turned it off and it was okay. Shower pressure was good. The only complaint was the woman at the front desk scolded us when we peeked in to see where breakfast was the next morning. Not much of a breakfast. Restaurant closed. The scolding wasn't necessary at all.

Great spot if you want to be close to MGM/ National Harbor and not pay the ridiculous room prices to stay at MGM. Just about a mile away from the casino. Rooms seemed to have recently been renovated and the beds were very comfortable, room was quiet aside from a couple drunks singing briefly at 3 am in the hall. Bathrooms need updating. They still have the old school shower tub setup with the shower curtain that touches your cheeks. This hotel deserves a lot of more credit. I was a little skeptical at first, due to some latest 3 star reviews and year built.But because this was for a one night stay for a near-by concert I didn't dwell on it. I was happily surprised. This hotel has a very welcoming and friendly staff! Including the morning breakfast lady and the shuttle drivers. Near grounds are kept very well and clean! Upon checking in my room, I was taking by the amount of space the rooms have. Impeccable floors and very very very well kept bathrooms. Everything was exceptionally clean. Room had a microwave and mini fridge, iron and iron board. Updated USB and phone charges. All worked like it suppouse to. This only tells me one thing, whoever manages this hotel has a good team who does not let this place run down. S
