Red Roof Inn & Suites Wilmington – New Castle

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars I was honestly surprised after reading some of the reviews, but my experience has been great. My room was clean, quiet, and everything worked perfectly. The heater works well, which matters a lot this time of year. I also got a really nice fridge and microwave, which made my stay much more comfortable. For the price, this place is a solid deal. It’s affordable, convenient, and I’ve had zero issues. Sometimes reviews don’t reflect everyone’s experience — but mine has been smooth and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: I did like decorating and cleaning. Negative: I didn't like receptionist, she didn't smile at me and she spoke down to me. Second night my neighbor knocked the door hard and bothered me i couldn't sleep it was 4 am

This hotel is not well-maintained. Parts of the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. In fact, marijuana is the first thing I smelled when I entered the building. My room smelled like cigarettes (yes, it seemed something had been sprayed to mask the unpleasant smell.) There were cigarette burns on one of the blankets, though this hotel is advertised as being “100% smoke-free.” I also smelled marijuana, perhaps from the vents. The coffee area was messy, though I was not too concerned about that. This hotel doesn’t provide a free breakfast. The price is unreasonably high relative to the quality of services. There was a bug, that I was concerned that it may be a bedbug. The hotel manager would not allow me to receive a refund. One may pay for close to $100 for a room per night,

First time traveling really couldn’t find it because it’s on the back road and it takes like a mile and a half just to get there so be prepared if you’re walking and not driving. Customer service could be a little bit more better only if they spoke English instead of using Google translator and they need to be more efficient with time and let them know when they bring back clean linen the hallway was very cold and the heater in the room got very cold at night while I was sleeping. They woke me up out my sleep very nice place but they need to work on a maintenance and have an English speaking worker and also make sure that they have enough amenities for people that want to be able to use the coffee machine

Awfully stay broke down and the tow truck driver took us there. Rooms were outdated. Dirty bathrooms. They charged my cc 100. Deposit that wasn't supposed to be charged. It was definitely not the best experience
