Travel Inn

Booked online, needed to check in early to drop my belongings off and head to work but they refused to let me despite having multiple rooms currently available. Couldn't get a refund either. Inevitably had to burn money on another place somewhere else that WOULD let me check in early. Also, when I came back to check the room I booked online, it wasn't the room they tried to give me. Trashy bait & switch place. The reviews on Expedia and other sources are fake. Take your money elsewhere. I know it's hard when you low on funds but just stay away from here.

We stayed there in the past and it was acceptable....not outstanding but good enough for the price, looked clean and it's near to the event we were attending. This stay was appalling. The sheets were clearly clean (the only saving grace), however, the rest of the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in WEEKS! Actual dirt marks on the floor as well as some other stuff that looked like dried cat vomit, marks all around and in the sink, disgusting stains and streaks on the toilet, shampoo drip marks all down the shower walls and doors, the floor behind the bathroom door had clearly never been cleaned. The first thing I noticed was unfriendliness at the front desk. The clerk told me that there’s no rooms available before asking me if I had a reservation. After I was checked in, I asked him what the password was for the Wi-Fi. Maybe he didn’t hear me, but I had to ask him three times. He was not hard of hearing he just didn’t listen to what I was asking him. He said you don’t need a password. You just take the key and tap it at the lock on the door - he was assuming I was for some reason asking about the password for the key for the door?||The room itself was very presentable. It looked renovated a nice manufactured flooring, and the bathroom was gorgeous. But the bed was hard. Positive: Quick and convenient booking with a decent rate. Room was updated which includes a nice shower stall. Negative: Non smoking room smelled like smoke (strong). Floors were very dirty.

Very basic. Friendly. The place is cluttered with stuff. Unfortunately it also has roaches. Good shower though 👍🏻
