Courtyard New Castle

Stayed here whilst on a road trip, wonderful hotel! Very close to I-95 so convenient for us road trippers. My room was decently clean, and for a highway hotel no complaints at all. The staff interacted with were very friendly, including the girl who came up to my room with towels and a couple shower caps I requested via the Marriott app (very fast 👍) One thing I will say is that the highway outside is loud and you can hear it from your room. Not an issue for me because I was able to tune it out quite easily, but if you are scared that will impair your sleep ask for a room on the other side away from the highway.

My job booked my stay here during my training. It is located right off of the highway. There is a Starbucks and drive thru, as well as a Royal Farms walking that all share the parking lot. Very clean establishment. Very nice staff. Food and bar located in the Lobby where you can purchase either. There isn’t a Continental Breakfast at this location. The room that I stayed in was huge! King size bed, sofa bed with ottoman, wall mounted large screen tvmicrowave, small fridge, a long desk with a rolling chair,and small single coffee maker located near the window in an cabinet. The bathroom was very spacious and a huge shower. The only issue I had with staying on the 3rd floor in this 4 story hotel is that I could hear the cars and trucks going by on the 95, and if the person is walking hard a

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful. Negative: The hotel charged an un-advertised $9.95 parking fee. it was an open parking lot basically shared with a gas station. They did not ask for a license plate number they did not even check to see if I even had a car, but added to my credit card on checkout.

We arrived close to midnight, as a group of ~30 after our bus broke down. Maria M checked us in swiftly and professionally, and offered to get us anything she could to make our stay easier (since we were coming back from a day trip to NYC). Maria really made a hectic and emergency experience better, especially since more than half the group was tired kids. Hotel was clean and employees were lovely! Thanks to Maria M for everything!

Rooms were decent and clean. VERY NOISY as it is located next to a busy highway. Poor food quality in restaurant with small portions and high prices. No free coffee in lobby. Gym is spacious and above average
