Red Roof Inn Griffin

Cleanliness and comfort of the room is decent and the customer service at the front desk was great compared to the surrounding hotels in the area. I love that it’s a pet friendly location. Pricing is decent but expensive for long term stay.

This is not a safe place to stay. Our room door was wide open when we arrived. We weren’t sure if someone was in the room which was scary. The room itself was ok, but had a heavy Lysol spray. There were sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot and there was heavy smell of marijuana in the air. We decided not to stay as we concerned for our safety.

Room was almost bare, smelled weird, towels were dingy, almost gray. Needed a room for 1 night to attend race in Hampton. Reviews looked decent on website. Price was bumped up for race weekend. Parking lot was creepy, outside the rooms were nasty. Sheets were dingy and cheap, but they were clean. Never again...

Air conditioners are in need of service because of filth and smells plus illegal smells. Bad sewage backup. Room smelt awful.

Not that cheap and they are not a nice room either, weed smell everywhere and To be pet friendly charge a pet fee of 30 for a puppy
