Red Roof Inn Forsyth

It’s not a five star palace or some velvet rope resort, but it’s a solid, clean place with genuinely friendly employees. I didn’t make it to the restaurant out front so I can’t judge the food, but the property itself has a certain old school roadside charm. All the rooms are on the outside with no interior hallways, like a classic motor lodge that’s been thoughtfully remodeled, and at least in my room they did a pretty nice job. The refrigerator was brand new, which honestly surprised me because in lower to mid range hotels those things are usually wheezing relics that barely hum, and this one was actually on and ready to go. There’s a pool that wasn’t open, and even a small chapel on site that looked really nice, perfect for a smaller wedding where everyone could stay in one spot, eat at

Wonderful nice welcoming staff, very kind and patient. Comfortable bed, clean room, good hot water in the shower, variety of breakfast items available - yogurt to pancakes. Love their pet policy, good grassy areas available to walk my dog, makes it much easier to travel with my furry friends. Very economical, great location right off the highway, plenty of parking. Outstanding place to stay.

Positive: Close to Interstate 75 for ease of access. Room was well equipped and comfortable. Negative: Bathroom could use a refresh, and breakfast was pretty basic.

We have traveled for over 25 years and always stay at a Red Roof inn, as our dog is always welcome. Out of the 5 destinations over the years, we found this location perfect and the owner is very friendly and considerate. Our room is always ready and clean. Beds are comfortable as well. We stopped here on our way down from MI. We rolled into the hotel at 1am you never know what you're going to get... The lady at the counter was wide awake! She was great, got us in our room right away. Off to bed. There are no frills at these hotels. The blowdryer in my room didn't work and that was a bummer. But everything else was all right.
