Forsyth KOA Journey

Awesome campground, my favorite in Ga… staff are awesome. Very Clean park, easy spots to navigate. Love the great choc chip cookies at check-in. Their pizza is Great. Can’t wait to come back. Super KOA..👍👍

Not big rig friendly - especially after dark. We drive a 44' Class A and tow a vehicle. After hours check in was easy. But the roads are very tight and difficult to see in the dark. Other vehicles were parked close to the roads which made the turns even tighter. You need cell service to access the wi-fi code. Had to walk back up the hill from our spot to get a signal. It was quiet and the staff was friendly when I called. But this was not the place for us.

Many site and road improvement has been done since we started stopping here during our travels. . A convenient stop for a day or 2 during travel. Sites are not huge but most are level or close to it.

A beautiful property just off of the interstate. The site was fairly level. A nice place to take a walk next to the pond. There is a playground for the kiddos. We stopped and played a round of miniature golf as we explored the grounds. We ordered a pizza from front desk and was delivered to our site. It was good!

Generally on par with typical KOA. Reservation and check-in is painfree. Stayed here about 6 times. Bathrooms are hit or miss. Sometimes completely out of order. The sewer hookup this time (site 110) and others near was laughable/pathetic. See pic. The site was not level at all. Required lots of blocks to get rig level and keep wheels in contact.
