Red Roof Inn Austin - Round Rock

This place is extremely nasty. Do yourself a favor a please read the reviews before staying here. We had driven 15 hours and our original hotel booking was mistakenly booked for the wrong date at a different hotel. It was 3:30 am so we frantically went online trying to find another hotel. This hotel answered and online the pics look decent. The outside looks bad but I thought maybe once we got the room it would be okay. Wrong!!! The room had roaches, everywhere! Dust and dirt on the floor, and a bad bathroom with only a shower! This place was too nasty to stay at. We got up and left the next day and stayed with family in town.... Save your money for a better spot that is higher quality at the same rate! Had nightmares about this hotel for the rest of my trip!!!

There are stains on the bedding- the toilet is dirty and I have a dog and there is a chemical dripping out of the ac. This is less of a hotel and more of a mad max scene as I can hear yelling in the halls and there is broken acs and microwaves scattered everywhere The last picture is not taken at and angle - the floor is slanted.

Positive: Staff was nice and welcoming Negative: I did not like the hotel as a whole the ceilings are missing tiles, the first room was dirty and had a foul odor. Toilet did not work nor television. I hope they clean up and update hotel.

The draw of a pet-friendly room was awesome. However, arriving early turned out to be a mistake. We got to the hotel at 11, and needed to let the pets out, but found out only upon arrival that check in started at 3, four hours later. This should be clearer to plan around for animal needs. No help or other options were provided, just a "too bad, not our policy."

Checked in went to my room it had not been clean and just by the state of it I did not want to switch rooms went the the front desk explain the room had not been cleaned and I would like to stay somewhere else and a refund he said he could only give me half back even tho the room was used so DO NOT STAY HERE
