Courtyard by Marriott Austin Round Rock

Came from out of town (4-hour drive) for a work function. My job pays for the room, but when I checked in, they asked for my personal card to put on file in case there is damage to the room. I was told my card would not be charged anything. By the next morning, my card was charged 700 hundred dollars. It charged everyone this amount from their card that stayed at the hotel. Now my card overdrawn by 500 because I only had 200 in my account. They said it would be 3 business days until I get it back. So now I can't use my card to buy food, gas, or anything because it over drawn on my card so much. Also still had a 4-hour drive home thankfully I put gas in before I checked in to hotel but had no food for the ride home. Ridiculous treatment from the hotel. I have stayed at many hotels for work

We stayed from 12/19 to 12/21 for an event. Our reservation was accidentally cancelled, but Clifford, the Front Office Manager, and Matt, the GM, resolved it quickly and professionally. Both were warm and helpful, making our overall stay wonderful. Unfortunately, our breakfast experience the following day was disappointing. The attendant, Jennifer, initially denied us service because our names were not on her list and did not check with the front desk to verify. The situation was eventually resolved, but her focus seemed more on enforcing rules than assisting guests. Thanks to Clifford’s intervention, the next morning went smoothly. I hope this can serve as a training opportunity, as great guest experiences rely on teamwork and attentiveness rather than personal ego.

We stayed at this hotel while participating in a local soccer tournament. I don't like posting negative reviews but we did encounter a few issues that I would like to mention in the hopes that management will get them resolved quickly. First, I have to travel with my own food and the refrigerator would not stay cool. When I asked the front desk about this, I was asked if I had unplugged the refrigerator and plugged it back in. I tried this and it worked but I had to do it multiple times over the two days that we stayed here. This was not optimal for keeping my food cool so I had to put ice in the cooler that I brought with me. That's when I realized the ice machine did not work and I had to keep traveling to another floor to get ice for my food. It was a rainy weekend in Round Rock and we

The room smelled! I had to purchase a room spray to help out with the odor. It’s right across the street from Round Rock Sports Center which was very convenient for a volleyball commuter. Beds were comfortable. The guy at the front desk was very questionable, it was freezing cold, frozen all over the place and he had the audacity to say I couldn’t check out later! I checked him real quick!

Hotel I have stayed at before for similar football conference. Kids running up and down the hallways all hours of the night. The night before check out cursing and knocking on my door until 3am. When I requested a later checkout and even agreed to pay for it was told no by Mariana and property manager Clifford. I am a Silver Elite Member and this is how they treat their most loyal customers.
