Hilton Garden Inn Austin/Round Rock

Had a great stay here, but what made my stay ABSOLUTELY AMAZING was Marco, who works the breakfast/cafe/bar area in the Lounge. Marco is the nicest, kindest, and most professional customer service representative I’ve ever met, especially in the hotel industry. He was so warm, attentive, and amazing. He truly cares about the experience of every guest he sees. I’ll definitely be coming back and will definitely use this location for company meetings etc just based on Marco’s customer service alone. The chefs in the kitchen were also so kind and pleasant. Very grateful!

Very average, at best. The walls are very thin which meant we could hear the family next door and their noisy kids as it was a connecting room (granted, not the hotels fault). |The whole hotel needs a spruce up. Our room was next to the ice machine which was so noisy it woke us up. They also have a church service on Sunday morning in the event rooms. No problem with that, but they didn’t tell us and therefore we had to listen to all the music- hearing loud drums at 10am on a Sunday morning just isn’t relaxing. |The blind in the room wouldn’t raise above a quarter of a way up. The gym was disgusting- wet dirty towels everywhere, litter, rusty equipment, burst Swiss ball and no sanitizing spray or clean towels. |Really poor experience from a Hilton and wouldn’t go back. 3 stars only for the

Good hotel for a business trip. Clean room, helpful staff, and convenient location.

I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The first room we received the floor was very unstable and the room was off level. The second room we received on the third floor was better but majority of the third floor smelled like mildew, there is no air ventilation in the bathrooms so mold is growing, we had hair on the walls of the bathroom and half a hamburger bun beside our bed. I alerted staff at the room didn’t need to be cleaned that there was food in our room. The room was cleaned, and the hamburger bun was still left in our room. The food was eventually removed, but there was also underwear that we found at the end of our stay that was in our room from previous guests. The lovely girl upfront was very polite and tried to take care of my issues and even gave us a discount on our stay,

The service and room were great. The rest of hotel seemed like a converted Comfort Inn. The elevator was slow. The second floor where I stayed had a musty smell and the hallway carpet seemed to be missing padding down the middle leaving a long trench that your foot kept finding when you walked from your room.
