Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport

We got there there was a problem with booking. The interior was old and dated, there was a large wad of pink chewing gum at the top of the stairs. We got her room and the window was broken as was the shower. We switched to the room across the hall. Thankfully the shower worked but where the fan in the was just a giant dirty cobwebbed hole, and there was only lavender hand soap (which I'm allergic to). The bed was uncomfortable, the brown bedspread had a weird greasy texture, and there were only half pillows. The Chair the desk was also falling apart. Parking wasn't great and a pain to get in and out of with the ticket machine.

Ok im a strange creature i looked extra scruby when i got there amd was a cranky butt. But the lady at the front desk (should have asked name) not just stayed chill but. Nice. I needed that night more than i could explain Issue with my card and me (lol it was me) But they still helped me i just got my deposit and its gonna make the world of difference to me right now..yall thank you :] Also the room was spotless same with bathroom, bedding was fresh and really clean.microwave wave was clean fridge worked. Nice and quiet right outside the airport and it was a 15 min walk to the train. Also they got snacks ( weakness ) and are not super expensive for being hotel snacks Thanks for the night and i wish yall the best !

Great hotel! Warm, friendly staff. Clean, cozy rooms. No issues whatsoever! I felt comfortable leaving my car for 10 days while on vacation. The shuttle took us promptly to the airport for our morning flight to Orlando. I would highly recommend Red Lion Hotel!

Red Lion Hotel is a super convenient hotel with a free shuttle for late arrivals/early departures to/from PDX. There's not much to do around the area in terms of food or entertainment, but UberEats is a viable option. If you need somewhere to sleep after or before a flight, Red Lion Hotel is a great choice!

Stayed there for multiple nights, don’t know if they do cleaning services during the day but that definitely did not happen even on days we left before 9am. Broke shower holders, leaking toilet, key cards not working. It was clean but definitely the cheap price shows the quality. Most front desk workers were nice, we had to ask for more towels since we kept having to use them on the floor. Agreed with most people in the reviews. They really need to update their amenities as most were closed “due to covid” (it’s 2026), and no breakfast but yes coffee. Definitely a hotel to sleep at not stay all day in.
