Red Lion Hotel Pocatello

It was a good hotel. They are updating it it seemed, but everything was nice. Only downside for us was the lack of other patron respect with letting their 10 and under kids hoard the hot tub and the play in the hallway of the floor we were on.

Positive: "" Negative: The pool was nasty and that is why I chose this hotel, the indoor pool. I wouldn’t put a flea in the water let alone my child. I do not think they own a vacuum for the hallways. Was not happy with this hotel at all. The guy when we checked in was great

Very accommodating! Had a large party and they made sure our rooms were all together! The pool is going to be a huge hit for the kiddos! Room is very nice and spacious.

I wish I could give zero stars. My room was disgusting, I had to ask for a broom and had to clean it myself. Service was terrible. Was on hold for 30 minutes because our tv didn’t work. The maintenance guy was really nice and fixed it luckily. Hotel was gross , food on conference tables, dead leaves everywhere by the pool, breakfast isn’t provided like most hotels. I had to wait 20 minutes to check out because nobody was at the front desk then when I was finally helped the girl had an attitude because “she doesn’t even work the desk” but saw me standing there and didn’t even help till I got mad and raised my voice. Seriously such an inconvenient stay and I will not be staying here again. I’m really mad I paid the price that I did and didn’t even have a pleasant stay.

Everything here was good but we did try going down to the red leaf kitchen/bar in the lobby and the bartender was a bit rude. She didn't acknowledge us at all and after seating ourselves, nobody approached us to let us to at least let us know that they aren't taking orders because they were closing early. There was no sign or anything. We only knew because she happened to mention this to another customer seated directly at the bar. We obviously understand that sometimes you have to close early but maybe mention something as the customers are walking in, otherwise you just come off rude.
