Red Carpet Inn Amish Country PA

( Red carpet Inn , Lancaster,Pa ) We Do not advise staying here. We were in rm 109- 2 nights while visiting the Lancaster area. Room was not kept up. Kind of run down. Paint missing from walls . The AC kept shutting off and turning on . AC was not able to reach the temp that the Ac was set at( Lowest setting was 60) They have a $10 dog fee . They put the people with a dog next to our room. Advertisement on the Hotel card says " a good nights sleep!" Not True! The dog barked off and on through the night. " Mahadra" the manager did not care. Awakened at 7 Saturday morning by dog. Manager would not refund any portion of our money. This particular room has an electrical issue. Turning off the light made the TV go Dim. Shower stall was dirty and dingy with specs of mold. DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms are infested with roaches. My friend and I had separate rooms and both found roaches. She found one when she got home in her shoe that was in her backpack. The staff was super friendly and let us check in early, but I cannot with the bugs!! Gross.

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Negative: The room had an old musty smell.

As a travel advisor, this was the worst motel I have ever stayed in. I researched this motel before planning a birthday getaway with friends because it was so close to the Dutch Apple Theater. Most of the reviews I saw were positive, so I thought that for one night, it would be a good option. |I was so embarrassed when, from the very start at check in after driving 2 hours from NYC the women working the front desk was sitting on the steps smoking and made it quite clear we were disturbing her cigarette break. When asked if we could use a bathroom, she snapped there isn't any, and so being urgent, we just tried to get through the process. When she asked my friend who was checking in what make and model my car was my friend replied she wasn't sure she would check the women snapped. Haven't

Don't walk Put on Roller Skates and skat out. It is extremely sticky my room was loaded with flies they were also a lot of ants in the sink also the bathroom door was going around in a circle wouldn't open or would not close. Don't waste your time or money in that rat hole. You be better off sleeping under your car.
