Very nice visit! Picked up some information here, they have a restroom here to. Very nice and helpful Forest & Conservation workers! Picked up information about the RV park there in Fort Pickens,FL. Always love seeing the the ocean. Just a beautiful ride!
Always a pleasure to speak with one of the phenomenal Rangers in this or any other National or State Park. The Rangers here are friendly and knowledgeable and they’re one of the reasons we keep coming back. ENJOY!!
One of the coolest houses and places I know. It's about four and a half miles in on Fort Pickens Road so that makes it about halfway to Fort Pickens. Just outside of the Langdon Beach area, this is where you can get campground reservations and talk to the Rangers.
Prices are to high for camping now compared to what we can get at Gulf Shores State Park. Pool, full hookup, plenty of spots to choose from, and air conditioning in the bathhouse so cold you can hang meat in there in the summer. Fort Pickens has gotten greedy over the past couple of years on all prices. Oh and no fishing at the fishing pear all night.
