Ramada by Wyndham Jersey City

I stayed with my family for 3 nights and stay was wonderful. We booked initially for 2 nights and extended 1 night later and the process was smooth .|They provide parking for 38$ which is great as you can take your car in and out any time. There is also garage with 26$ but you cannot take your car in and out. If you lucky you can free street parking on backside on weekends. On weekday only 2 hrs are allowed.|They provide hot breakfast which was great.|They also provide shuttle to EWR airport.|It is near journal square and walking distance to path.|Rooms were neat and clean. Everything isambiguous: good beds but terrible firm pillows; good room cleaning but cockroaches in the reception area; there's a free airport shuttle but the breakfast is awful and tasteless

Location was good as it was close to train station. Rooms are very old and outdated. Lighting in rooms were modern but did not go aesthetically with rest of room. If you Google this place, the pictures are accurate. Bathroom is small and water was leaking on the floor from either the toilet or sink. Not much counter space. Elevators are small and slow. Breakfast was included but very little options and not great quality. Utensils/plates were paper/plastic. Staff were ok, they weren't rude as some reviews mention. They have limited spots for parking and there is a daily fee, but there's also a parking garage close by.

We were very pleased with our hotel choice for our trip to New York. The staff were friendly and helpful. We thought the breakfast was fantastic. There is a free hourly shuttle service to Newark Airport. Staying here was extremely sensible considering the chaos of New York, and transportation was quite easy with the Path train. Thank you for everything, we recommend it to everyone.

I would like to give an honest account of my stay here. I stayed for one night with my mom & my uncle because we had business in Manhattan. To that end- the location is very easily accessible by train. The train station is a short distance by foot. The room was very clean with lots of space. The staff was courteous & kind. Breakfast options were great- eggs, bacon, French toast & pastries were on offer when I stayed. Good coffee too. My only complaint- this hotel is in an old building- they used to be apartments- and thus, the windows have terrible noise insulation. You will hear the hustle & bustle of the community. I’ve stayed in downtown NYC & Chicago and not experienced anywhere near the levels of noise from the outside as I did in this hotel. We ended up checking out a night earlier
