Hyatt House Jersey City

Location is perfect—right next to Exchange Place PATH station (3-5 min to World Trade Center/Manhattan), stunning Hudson River/Manhattan skyline views, close to ferries, Liberty State Park, and Jersey City eats. Ideal for NYC trips without Manhattan prices. Rooms were spacious suites with full kitchenette (fridge, microwave, stove—great for snacks/meals), comfy beds, modern setup, clean, and quiet. Loved the extra space! Service was outstanding—super friendly, helpful staff, smooth check-in, and attentive throughout. Free hot breakfast was solid (good variety, fresh options). Rooftop bar/views a nice bonus. Fantastic value—would stay again in a heartbeat! 5 stars.

Nice room! Bed was pretty comfy, room was very clean. Bathroom is nice as well. The kitchen had just enough stuff that I needed: a couple skillets/pots. Plenty of silverware and glasses, as well as a dishwasher, detergent, etc. Stocked like an Airbnb kitchen essentially. The location is also prime, right across from the PATH station and near a Whole Foods, cava, etc Rooftop bar is one of my favorite spots, drinks are decent and not too expensive during happy hour. Breakfast was really good on the terrace and the staff at the front desk was helpful, they even had extra toothbrushes and toothpaste. My only complaint was the view was non existent and we couldn’t upgrade but apparently they only have four rooms in the hotel with the view, so book that ahead of time if you can.

Fantastic Stay — Shockingly Good Views & Super Comfortable Rooms! I stayed at the Hyatt House Jersey City and honestly… I was not expecting to love it as much as I did. The rooms are clean, modern, and somehow manage to feel both spacious and cozy at the same time. The bed? Let’s just say I set an alarm and still overslept. Twice. The location is unbeatable — you literally step outside and the waterfront is right there, plus the PATH station is basically your next-door neighbor. Perfect for anyone bouncing between Jersey and Manhattan without wanting the Manhattan chaos. Breakfast in the morning was solid and surprisingly well-organized even during busy hours. Attended a medical symposium in one of the conference rooms. The room was very nice with panoramic views of the New York skyline. Staff was helpful and answered inquiries quickly. Food was set up and taken down as contracted, & food was good, variety was good. There was plenty of space. Bathrooms were clean and there were lots of common waiting areas that were comfortable. Parking was a bit of a hassle as I had to park in a different building, and cost $27/day. I did not stay at the hotel & am not sure how to rate the rooms, but a colleague said they were comfortable. There was a really interesting monument right next to the hotel, remembering a Polish WWII incident. I’d be willing to stay there next time. Just book early for more best pricing.

The Hyatt House felt like a boutique hotel. The customer service was exceptional! Trudy made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The views of the skyline from the terrace and rooftop bar were stunning. The Path was a short walk from the hotel's entrance. Breakfast service had several options to choose from.
