Ramada by Wyndham Birmingham Airport

Well I stayed there for 3 days last week…. The staff were very unfriendly and lazy as hell. They acted as if the guests were a bother to them. One girl stayed glued on her phone the whole time I was talking to her. The only great staff was the young Indian girl that works late afternoon, she was very courteous and friendly! The elevator doesn’t work properly and the certificate is outdated! We were on the 2nd floor and went to get on the elevator to go to the 1st floor and it took us to the 1st floor. Free breakfast…….. I better pass on that.. silverware is reusable plastic and they just wash them and reuse them. The pancakes are so small they look like they have been shrunk!! lol . Breakfast at 6:30 am to 9am. Absolutely disgusting hotel and terrible customer service. Room 348 was atrocious. No artwork, only nails/hooks on the walls where the artwork once was. Rotting woodwork, terrible touch up painting, dirty pillowcases, no microwave or even tissues. The bathroom light flickered, if you were seizure prone this would be a problem. The shower head was so low it hit my head and I am 5’5”. The water ran behind the wall and sprayed the ceiling while in use. The advertised bar/food/lounge was not open as advertised. There was no microwave in the room, in fact there were two of them between the soda and ice machine in the hall. They were disgustingly dirty and the hall itself stunk of “pot/weed”. The bathroom had no tissues. The shuttle service is a joke. I had to call and wake someone up

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff was professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with any request. The location was convenient, making it easy to access key areas in the city. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free experience. I would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

The room was clean. The shower was hot. The continental breakfast was pretty decent (scrambled eggs made fresh when we went in, cereal, bagels, bananas, etc). My only things that kept it from being 5 stars were: Room was hard floor rather than carpet. I get that it's easier to clean and stuff, but planting bare feet onto a smooth, chilly floor is not ideal. (Maybe even just a rug under the bed itself would help?) Vending machines are old school cash only. Had to dash to a gas station to grab a couple Cokes in the morning. Simone at the front desk was friendly and welcoming.

Wyndham if you care about your brand you will remove it from this property. The rooms are trash. The service was trash. Management is trash. The best thing about this hotel is that its close to the airport. The sheets were ripped and had brown stains on them. The bathroom door looked as if someone had kicked it in. After being at the hospital for 2 days with little sleep, I really wanted to rest. That didn't happen. There was a party going on all night. When we checked in we were told that there was a complimentary breakfast in the morning. The next morning, the woman at the desk said there is no breakfast. No explanation. When we went to the front desk to complain and just check out early, we were offered a full refund but there wasn't enough cash on site. The desk clerk asked the manage
