THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I recently stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Austin and had one of the most frustrating and stressful hotel experiences I’ve ever had. At check-in, I presented my ID and debit card. The front desk employee, Viktor, told me my card was already on file and everything was set. We were given our room keys and went upstairs. About 30 minutes later, he knocked on our door claiming my payment “did not go through,” which made absolutely no sense since we had already been cleared. I immediately went downstairs to resolve it. I swiped my card multiple times, and every single time the keypad clearly displayed “Approved.” Despite this, Viktor repeatedly insisted the payment had failed. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean! The staff was extremely friendly as well! Maritza welcomed us and she was extremely pleasant! The only problem we ran into was a main water break so we were unable to shower or use the restroom for 2 days. I had to buy gallons of water to wash my face, brush my teeth and wash my hair. I had to buy hygiene wipes to stay smelling as fresh as I can. It was a huge inconvenience because my intimate weekend had no intimacy due to the lack of showers. And I had to get on a plane without showering for 2 days. We were told we would be taken care of but only $40 was taken off the bill. I don’t think that was enough for the inconvenience of having to buy water, hygiene wipes and use gas to drive some where else to use their bathroom. I found myself holding in

Last week i stayed at this hotel with my family and our experience was amazing. The hotel staff was very nice. We had a decent room with good space, nice floor to ceiling windows, blackout curtains, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms and rooms. The location was convenient and overall it was a good stay and we would consider returning.

Positive: The staff was VERY kind and patient with us, even giving us 20+ extra minutes to leave our room at check out with no rush from the staff at all. Our room was CLEAN, all toiletries & towels were neat and easily accessible. Breakfast was small, but enough!! Negative: Nope, we loved everything

Honestly problems as soon as we arrived. The car port was under construction without previous knowledge and the button to call the elevator on the second floor was broken so it took up to 5/6 mins each time for it to recognize (which isn’t great when traveling with someone who has limited standing and walking ability). Our first room had no power to the fridge, microwave or ac unit. Thankfully we were given a new room. With our second room, the first day we were there, we had to wait for the water to heat up and even though we had left the do not disturb sign on the door was entered while we were gone. They entered to remove an iron that WAS in the room when we arrived. This was incredibly inconvenient being as we were visiting for a wedding and then had to share 1 between 2 rooms. Not to
