Rainbow Lake Resort

We stayed in one of Rainbow Lake Resort's bigger cabins for our granddaughter's 7th birthday; we had a blissful time, here. We are busy professionals - all our worries and cares dissipated, washed away in the play of sunlight, clouds, geese and beavers in 14,000-foot-Continental-Divide-reflecting water.... God offered us a taste of things to come, completely lost to time and place. Thank you, Joy and David (lovely caretakers)...this memory will be with us, forever!

Just back from Rainbow Lake 9/7-13/2024. Our 5th annual trip. ONLY GOOD THINGS TO SAY! ||Negative comments this year were due to very bad caretakers hired for the season. That’s not the norm. Owners found out too late, but believe they’ve learned a lesson to stay better informed throughout the season to make sure they have the right people in charge.||We arrived to Joy, Dave, Kay & Stuart (past care-takers) who’d been brought back for at least the past 2 weeks. Can’t tell you how much I love each of these awesome people. They make Rainbow Lake the amazing, warm, friendly, relaxing, clean and well cared-for place it’s been known to be. We had a great visit. I have been coming to Rainbow Lake Resort for 20+ and cannot recommend it enough! Specifically cannot say enough good things about Joy, the manager, whose kindness and genuine hospitality set the tone for a truly memorable experience. If you're looking to escape the noise and reconnect with peace, nature, and enjoy beautiful CO mountain views, this resort is the perfect place. We are always left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward about our next visit.

Rainbow Lake is a family tradition, packed with memories that go back 40 years! We really enjoy the fishing and quiet tranquility we find while doing so! The kids LOVE the playground and the area to explore. Highly recommend to all!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Rainbow Lake Resort this past week. Based on the negative reviews we were seeing earlier in the year, we were uncertain if we should go back to Rainbow Lake this year. Fortunately, the Rainbow Lake Resort owners did a great job of bringing in a new team to manage the conditions of the cabins and provide excellent customer service. The new team, Joy, Dave, Kay and Stuart are so nice and so helpful! We love Rainbow Lake and have enjoyed going there for several years. Thank you Joy, Dave, Kay and Stuart! We will be back in 2025!!
