Quality Suites Wildwood - The Villages

First, my husband and I are senior citizens we were asked if we wanted the first or second floor. I said the first would be great, not knowing we were being put way back and I really did not feel safe room 127 which had no outside light. In speaking to someone while I was getting coffee they said they had a beautiful room, newlly remodeled and they had a dog. I think if you want to promote rooms you should book the remodeled rooms first. Our room in size was unbelieveably big! On a plus side the bathroom was very clean they gave us two sets of towels probably because they do not go into the rooms to make the bed but that was okay. The shower head looked old but it was fantastic nice hot water, great water pressure and please dont get rid of the shower head when you remodel the room. The

The size of the suite was great & a great location to the places we needed to go to for the holidays. The floor was filthy, swept but not mopped clean. I walked on it for an hour or so barefooted & when I got in the shower I left black foot prints in the tub & had to scrub the bottoms of my feet ! Once the natural sunlight lite the room the next day, I could see how dirty the walls were, from midway down to the floor, they were streaked with dirt & hand prints. The floors & the walls needed to to scrubbed with hot, clean soapy water & then rinsed several times, you need a better cleaning crew. The microwave was disgusting, greasy inside & smelled of old food. We were gone from the room several hours the 1st day & the maids never cleaned the room. Day 2, xmas morning, they were there brigh

I was at an air bnb and due to issues there, I had to find a hotel quickly for myself and my 2 adult sons. The price was reasonable, but when I saw the rooms, it was better than I thought. My only issue was the noise in the hallway from other people. However, that wasn't the hotel's fault and when I called, because it was after 10pm and I had an extremely stressful day, it was taken care of pretty quickly. I would definitely stay here over an air bnb.

I was happy to pull in at close to 1:00 a.m. and see a nice and greeting person there to welcome me. I think the room was very spacious and clean. The staff the next morning was helpful and attentive. The only things missing were some table lamps to help with the lighting. Other than that, it was a nice hotel to stay for one night.

Positive: The room was very large and it was clean. Negative: Weird TV, it took 10-15 minutes for it to scan in stations. There was a lot of noise from other rooms. The hot breakfast was a waffle maker but the waffle dough dispenser was empty. The coffee maker was out of decaf. Had some juice and a yogurt.
