Comfort Inn & Suites Wildwood - The Villages

Our car broke down and we needed a room. We came here and got their very last room. All was well and good until we stepped into the room. The room was NOT cleaned. At all. Sticky hardfloor, dust in the carpet, mold growing in the shower, all the handlebars had prints, smudges, and dried bits on them. The AC/heater REEKS of mildew. The toilet wasn't cleaned, nor were the sink and counter wiped. And the beds.... Oh the beds. There were hairs in both beds, and on one of the top blankets there was hair and dried snot. Yes, a nice large dried booger on the blanket. I named it Bob. I ended up having to clean the bathroom myself, and all of us certainly did not shower. The maids obviously skipped that room. Positive: Leaving!!!!! Negative: Dirtiest place I have stayed in 50 years. Had to go buy bleach to clean bathroom before we could use it. Mold around sink, towels stained, pool was green. Breakfast I wouldn't feed my dog old cereal, stale bread that's it!! No juice or milk.

Room was clean. Stayed 3 nights housekeeping came she was absolutely respectable .. even offered my wife extra makeup wipes... She said you have to request service but had no problem servicing us and making our beds and cleaning bathroom which was ok clean when arriving but absolutely spotless when she got done. Tipped her 20 bucks which I don't usually do but her hospitality was delightful. I think she said her name was Arial. Breakfast was hot I liked the waffle maker. Lobby was spotless. Star at the front was absolutely amazing very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again.

We've stayed here once before. So we knew what to expect. This time was just a little disappointing due to some issues. One was that after unpacking and setting up our room we realized we had no hot water. However they did move us to the room right next door immediately, so we didnt have to move far. But, as soon as we were in the new room, a live cockroach was in the bathroom crawling on the outlet. So that was concerning. I did not see another roach after that though. There was also some trash left on the floor from previous guests. So overall it was a good stay and we appreciate the free hot breakfast. The staff was also super friendly especially the front desk and the women on check in day.

Our local high school marching band recently stayed at this hotel while competing at the state championships, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. One employee, Star Weaver, in particular went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for our students made a world of difference during a busy and exciting weekend. She consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, offered helpful guidance, and treated every member of our group with respect. It was clear she truly enjoyed supporting the kids, and her positive attitude helped create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone.
