Quality Suites Austin South St. Elmo District

It was a great experience for us. We were visiting Austin for a couple of days and this location was close to the airport. Hotel staff were very polite and even gave us a late checkout. Rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities. Highly recommended!

If you stay 1 night its ok We stayed 3. Disappointed understand dont change beds but at least make them and clean the bathroom daily I hate having a dirty sink and toilet. Also had to ask each day for towels because they only gave us 2 large ones The breakfast was sad just bread to make toast 1 waffle maker eggs in a crockpot. cheap paper plates when waffle mix coffee or eggs was empty breakfast was over. The online pictures of there breakfast was misleading.

Kudos to management and the staff for keeping this location in a very good condition. I cannot remember how many years ago (three to five perhaps) the renovation was, but the care in keeping the rooms and furnishings clean shows. Breakfast is very basic; there was not a breakfast meat the morning of my stay. This and the Holiday Inn Town Lake remain my two go-to places when I don't want the cost or hassle of downtown Austin but need a short ride into downtown for business the following day.

Mona the manager was very nice. The beds were clean, comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. When I took a shower, I was shocked to see they provided shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion. I forgot my 30 dollar phone charger and was amazed that the house keeper had it. This was all in all a great experience.

Great Access to I-35, if you want travel to downtown quickly. Plenty of Free Parking. The Lobby is nice and quaint. The checking process took less than 10 mins. I was given my key with wifi code written down on it and was told about the amenities and how and when to access them , the desk staff was professional, friendly and personable. I was placed on the 2nd floor, the elevator was quick to arrive. The room was clean, but a slight smoke odor lingered, had to open the window for fresher air. The bathroom was massive, which is great for larger body frames to move about without feeling claustrophobic. The room itself was spacious, the bed had clean sheets and fluffy pillows. The room looked liked it had been partially renovated. The couch and desk area was also clean, the carpet was fresh
