Quality Inn University North I-75

I checked in to this hotel and the room they gave me had no fitted sheets, stains on the bed and sticky substance on night stand, they moved us to another room and we had to call down for towels, wash cloths, and soap. The next morning we noticed no shower curtain and called down and they could not give us one, so we could not take a shower. Angie at the front desk said she would comp the room but they instead charged us $122.90 for the room. After calling Angie argued with me and sent me a receipt with the full charge insisting it that was my comped rate. The property was very noisy till late due to people laughing and cutting up outside in the hallway. The breakfast was missing most of what you expect at a quality inn

The front desk receptionist tried to tell me my rate was higher because I booked through a third party. I explained i booked through the choice app and she did finally acknowledge it. She did lower my rate to the guaranteed lowest rate. The next day I saw on my charge card 3 separate charges. I then talked to the front desk receptionist on duty and she said that should have all been explained to me. One is a cleaning fee, one is a security deposit and the last rate is the actual room charge. Not any of that was mentioned when I checked in. Just that she lowered my rate to $69 and my new bill charged to my card would be $77.63. She just said well It is part of our intake spiel and it should have been stated. Nothing like driving all night and mind you this room has been booked for about three weeks for three nights. I called them to tell them we were in traffic and would be getting in around 4-5 am... Get there at 5 am called the number on the door like the women instructed me to do at 7:22 pm when I called them, they tell me that I won't be able to check in and there was nothing I can do. Absolutely uncalled for...I also registered with choice hotels who they are with!! Choice hotels has tried calling them at lease a dozen times and NOTHING!!! Oh mind you the women that answered the phone when I arrived with the number they told me to call from the door sounded like I was waking her up....this is uncalled for!!! Totally unprofessional! One way or another I better get my money back!!

one price when looking up room. 30 bucks added for tax and fees at check out. 70 room cost 110. free internet is 10mb. and requires watching ads or sign up to additional services. manager ignores mention of missing smoke alarms. THAT are REQUIRED BY LAW. open wires left in in wall instead. the inside door lock was also missing and there was umderwear left in the closet no smoke detectors in room. they offered a 10 percent discount for all the problems.

My stay at this MOTEL was everything but pleasant. I was traveling alone and the room was in the back, which drugs were used. People fighting which made me feel unsafe. I asked to be moved to the front, for which they complied. There’s action there 24/7. The rooms were infested with roaches. 🪳 🪳🪳🪳if you requested more towels …. You had to give them your used towels before they would give you fresh ones. I would not recommend anyone traveling alone to stay at this MOTEL. Law enforcement was called several times
