Quality Inn University near Downtown

My husband, daughter, and I really had a nice experience here. I was able to check in a little before the check in time. Willie was so kind and provided EXCELLENT customer service. Location was perfect to where we needed to be for an event. Alot of food options near the hotel. (We had Buddy's burgers and Layne's chicken fingers while we were in town and enjoyed both. Try them out) Room was clean and exactly what we needed to rest our eyes for the night before heading out. Hot breakfast provided in the morning. Honestly we have 0 complaints. Comfortable place to rest at an affordable rate and received excellent customer service, yep absolutely would recommend.

Stains on walls and doors towels and bedsheets ironing board. Room smelled musty stains all over mattresses. Hairs from previous ppl in bathroom. Breakfast was cold sausage and eggs were so cold and the coffee came out of a machine it tasted so bad. I like to stay at places with good breakfast but this place was not it. They even gave me powdered milk for my coffee. People were nice worked there but facility was not up to par. The family running the buisness is very nice. But thats it.

It was mostly good. The staff was nice and the room was comfortable. My only complaint is that the room wasn't quite as clean as I would have hoped. Nothing too egregious or hazardous, but enough that it made me uncomfortable. There was a good bit of dust on several things, there was a bar of soap left in the shower from a previous guest, there was a small sticky spot on the bedside table, the desk chair was so grimy that I didn't even sit on it, and there was a large (but very faded, so possibly just not noticed by housekeeping) stain on the fitted sheet. Having said that, the desk chair was the only thing that felt unusable. Despite the stain, the bed seemed clean, and the bathroom and armchair likewise seemed fine. I realize it's not a fancy hotel and that's perfectly fine with me, but

Just nasty, stains on bedspread, chipped paint on toilet, rude check in, no flex on late check out even though we checked in at midnight, AC sounds like a washing machine and then an idleing motor cycle. I brought my gun with me to smoke outside, sketchy folks there. Don't do it, keep on driving.

The room was ok, the service was great but the location of the hotel to where I needed to be was awesome, but it is on main highway. Clearly all other hotels were the same, but the highway noise did bother me. The other downside the property does not have elevators, I had bags and had knee surgery. It was my fault for not researching better, other than that the hotel was near where I needed to be.
