Roxanne was amazing she made sure my stay was welcoming and perfect. She went above & beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for your amazing customer service Roxanne, more people like you are needed.

This was a great resting spot for us. I loved having the restaurant in the hotel. The menu had a variety of choices and the food was good. The staff was very friendly. I did not eat breakfast in the restaurant. Instead, we had their complimentary coffee and homemade muffins. The muffins were delicious! There was a bit of a noise issue with the close proximity to the freeway, yet the friendliness of the staff makes this hotel a nice place to stay.

The lady at the front desk was super friendly and we got in pretty late. The beds were comfortable enough and we didn't get a chance to get breakfast. Around 1am, the hot water had a milky color to it so as soon as I woke up I tried to shower and there was no hot water, I knew there was an issue bc why is the water white at 1AM? I kept calling the front desk and got no reply from room phone. I called from my cell phone and finally got someone. She informed me that it wasn't their fault they didn't have hot water. Which is interesting bc i'm not sure who that would land on, if not them. Anyway, at 8 o clock I was informed that it should be resolved quickly. This hotel has so much potential, but our experience overall wasn't positive. The hotel & the rooms themselves are clean, the beds are fairly comfortable, but the bathroom was full of broken or semi-functional amenities (shower head, tub stopper, and diverter all had issues). Service of those amenities was delayed, the front desk was understaffed so we had to go downstairs ourselves to get replacements, and eventually moved rooms mid-stay to a room that had fewer bathroom issues. The issues were ones I would expect from a much lower-cost hotel rather than the price we paid. Typically IHG hotels have served us well, but this one fell short of expectations, so we likely won't be staying there next time we're in town.

Our recent event at the Holiday Inn San Marcos Convention Center was outstanding from start to finish! Angel, the manager, was absolutely exceptional — everything was set up far beyond our expectations. The banquet rooms were beautifully arranged and completely ready for us, including Audio/Visual equipment that made setup effortless. Ed was very professional and attentive, assuring us that he’d be available every step of the way — and he truly was. Carol at the front desk took wonderful care of us, making sure our rooms were perfect and that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Var at breakfast provided excellent service — attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to start our day right. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from the entire team
