La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Marcos Outlet Mall

My excellent experience with my stay began from the time I walked in the door to check in. Buddy at the front desk was very polite, professional, informative and welcoming. He was very helpful also by answering a few questions that I had. The room I was assigned to was very clean and cozy: it was freezing temps outside, and the thermostat had already been placed at a comfortable warm temperature when I arrived to the room. I was in town for a wedding, and was very happy to find that both the iron and ironing board in the closet were clean and worked properly. Another thing that impressed me was the quality of the toiletries provided in the bathroom. All of the linens were crisp and the towels were soft and fluffy and everything smelled freshly laundered. The hotel and room were clean but no frills. The hotel is far enough off the highway to not be bothered by highway noise. The bed was comfortable. The fitness room had minimal equipment. The breakfast was adequate, but I would have liked to have had more food choices. The room price seemed high for what you got.

Called about a room on Saturday night at 10 pm after our wedding. Our previous plan changed last minute. The lady who answered the phone needs to be disciplined. I hope y’all have call records over there, I have never received such sass in my life. Luckily we were able to cancel our online reservation and choose a different hotel. I will be calling corporate and BBB for this experience I received on my wedding night. Completely unprofessional and straight rude. Called the front desk later this night, was told the person was named Cruz. I will not stop until this is resolved or this person is reprimanded. What the heck

The walls are paper thin. We could hear everyone in all directions having their conversations. Made for a long sleepless night. Also the room wasnt cleaned well. Stuff dripping off the bathroom door and mystery stains. Wouldn't stay again. Staff we encountered were all great. Location is good to.
