Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Austin San Marcos

I arrived around 9pm to be informed the elevators did not work, and was told they would be fixed the following day. I had to haul rolling bags and suitcases up three flights of stairs, which was an inconvenience. The following morning, I left the hotel around 9am and the elevators still weren't fixed...ok no problem. I carried my luggage down the stairs, and the front desk informed me that the elevators would be fixed by noon. I get back to the hotel around 6pm, and the elevators still aren't fixed. The front desk reps were nonchalant and weren't helpful or asking how to compensate me. I will NEVER stay here again! Please stay away!

We had wonderful experience there for 7 days of vacation. Room is clean and cozy. Excellent staffs ,nice, helpful and friendly. Great complimentary breakfast. It is the most high-quality hotel I have ever had. I sure will come again.

Stayed here for one night (1/18/2026). Easy check in. Rooms are clean and bed very comfortable. Hotel offers a free breakfast. It is on I-35 and traffic noice is noticeable in the morning. Good value.

The location and welcome desk service were the highlights of this stay. The room was clean but the bed and pillows were far from comfortable. The shower head could also be replaced.
