Quality Inn & Suites McDonough South I-75

Staff was pleasant and attentive. The property, however, could use some renovations. A couple holes in the walls, stained appliances and saw a few baby roaches. It was to be expected, so no complaints. Continental breakfast was just that, bananas, 2 options for cereal, 2 options for juice, coffee and a waffle maker. Dining area was clean but could use napkins. Nice, affordable, quick getaway if you are not seeking major updated amenities.

The room appeared in need of some cleaning but the 3:30am wake up to roaches everywhere including in our bed. Do not stay there, I also left my expensive pillow there, I called them within 20 minutes of leaving and was assured that they had it, when I called back to speak with the manager to ask to have it shipped to me when I was informed that they now didn't have it. Not sure why anyone want to keep someone else's pillow, but they obviously did. Definitely not a place to stop.

Worst experience EVER! FILTHY!!! SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS ! SAFETY hazards! No running water in sink which would explain the taped up plumbing under vanity - the GFI| Electrical outlet destroyed! Darkening shade was what I assumed to of been melted and could see through it , couldn't close curtains because they were just hanging by a few hooks. I could go on and on !!! Didn't stay in that room!!! Called to say disnt have water so offered another room - ok will try it bc just needed off thr road - first thing saw upon going in was a roach crawling up curtain, just turned around amd left !!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times before with good results. We made reservations by phone, asked for a first floor room and used our Choice points. We were given rool 111. Walking in we saw there were no lamp shades on the lamps, just bare bulbs. There was no night stand between the beds for my CPAP to sit on. The freezer was so filled with frost there was no room for anything else. The dresser drawers were missing and the bases for them were broken and hanging down. Paint was pealing off the walls. We went to the desk and were given a chance to see room 101. It was much better but not great. Another lampshade was missing and one was full of cracks, the TV remote didn't work(batteries). We asked about the ice machine. Out of order. The breakfast next morning was lacking.

Old and dirty. First thing we seen was cockroaches. Couldn't get a refund so we stayed 4 hours and left. We checked mattress for bedbugs but luckily didn't find any. We didn't bring our suitcases in for fear of taking them home. We packed everything that was taken in the room in a plastic bag to be fumigated before entering my home. Someone should contact the proper agency to get it corrected. I'm sorry to sound so negative but it was pretty bad.
