Quality Inn & Suites Cartersville North

The room they tried to rent us looked ok until we went in and found what looked like mold on the bedspread, cobwebs all over and the shower looked like a disaster that no one bothered to clean up. Needless to say, we went somewhere else after asking for our money back. Quality? Not at this Quality Inn.

Old building and not fit for handi cap power chair. Just barely went through door way. had to have furniture moved to get into the bathroom. Had to go out into the parking lot to get to the Lobby. In the morning there was no breakfast. Ice and laundry room dirty.

The bathroom door looked like someone had punched a big hole in it. The hair dryer didn’t work and breakfast was absolutely horrible. Instant oatmeal, prepackaged donuts and muffins. We will not stay there again and I only hope the one in Gainesville Fl is a huge improvement. We’ll find out in about 30 min.

We are seasoned travelers with a lot of hotel experience. This was a last minute reservation during a drive home. We were pleasantly surprised due to the negative reviews. The reception staff was very friendly. The parking lot was well lit. The room was clean and had very comfortable beds. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was a perk we grabbed coffee and donuts for the road. I did not hear any noise from I-75 in the room. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this may not be the place. If you are looking for a basic hotel room to meet your needs this place works out great.

Due to flea issue and having to switch rooms 3 different times only to be woken up after checking in late as a choice rewards member after 11am demanding i check out at that time. As a choice rewards member I have the choice to check out at 1pm. The front desk apparently didn't let the first shift know and caused a very unpleasant and very uncomfortable visit for me and I will not be back.
