Quality Inn & Suites Birmingham - Highway 280

02/12/26 - Traveling for work. Only one night sadly. But my overall experience was wonderful from check in to check out!! MsShequoya (not sure if I spelled it right) was the face of customer service!!!!! Had a smile the entire stay and was very welcoming! Wish I didn’t have to leave so soon, but if I’m ever in the area again, will definitely be back!!! Room was clean, bed and pillows soft, breakfast was ok and the pool was FANTABULOUS!!! Definitely recommend 10/10* Also I am a solo traveling female and felt very safe in my surroundings!

Reception was friendly and quick. Room was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The refrigerator even had a freezer compartment to re-freeze the ice packs for our travel cooler. The bed was very comfy with a selection of pillows so each of us could choose one that was just right. Best of all, the breakfast was superb with a wide variety of breakfast food and beverages ranging from scrambled egg and sausage patties to fresh waffles and hot chocolate. We definitely plan to stay there again when we come through Birmingham.

Plenty of food choices near by and stores are close. The employees are friendly and helpful. The room is a little rundown but the beds are comfortable and clean. I've posted these photos so that you can decide if this place is acceptable for you or not.

I have stayed here before and the staff is always friendly but my room was not the best ..there was black pubic hair in the shower, hair on the floor and dirt on the side of the tub.also the vents in the AC unit are in need of attention. I brought my own Lysol and it's a good thing because when I entered the room it smelled like a dog had been living there. the body wash was completely out in the shower but luckily I brought my own. It was quiet, I was able to sleep well..but overall cleanliness needs improvement

The staff is excellent the breakfast was nice. The overall building and room could use a nice update. Because there's just a lot of old carpet and stains. The sheets were clean the towels were fresh and soft.
