Quality Inn & Suites Albany Airport

This was my first time at this hotel and for $160 for one night for a room with a jacuzzi I was expecting it to be cleaned at least. The service at the front desk was fine and the appearance of the lobby was very clean. I was upset to see how dirty the jacuzzi was, as if it was just used with dirt rings and hair visible. I had to purchase my own cleaning supplies and clean it thoroughly before using. This was unacceptable for just wanting a relaxing night.

There was blood on the sheets and comforter. We had to ask for a new one but did not discover it until the next day. When we were changing the bed linen we found dirty towels with what looked like urine on the mattress and all the front desk said was sorry. There was blood in the bathroom and I had to clean the bathtub and jacuzzi tub with bleach before we could use it. Even the. We didn’t feel comfortable but couldn’t move to another hotel and they did not give us any option to move to another room.

I was told that my room was in a separate building which had "updated" rooms. The hall leading to the rooms had no heat and my room was cold as the small wall heater was not turned on. The mattress sat on a metal frame which constantly made noise. The water temp was at best luke warm with very little pressure. The free breakfast was a joke - a bagel, muffin, waffle. I will NEVER stay here again.

Stayed for a few weeks with our pet and it was a pleasant experience. Love the size of the fridge as well so that was a plus. It was quiet throughout our entire stay. The bathroom was very clean I must say as well and the housekeeping did a great job.

Clerk was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I was put in one of the newer rooms. building was supposed to be non smoking but was not. The construction of the room was poor. Could hear conversations from the hallway, and the other rooms. Also any noise from the bathroom was heard. Finally, lighting outside for parking was minimal but the area behind the rooms were as bright as day with no way to black out light using the curtains. Breakfast was below expectations from Quality Hotels. Price was about expected for the hotel compared other local hotels.
