Microtel Inn by Wyndham Albany Airport

We just checked in and the front office manager PK could not have been any more accommodating! We came in with a lot of bags and were unaware that there was not an elevator in the building, while we were perfectly capable of bringing all of our luggage up the stairs,upon returning inside with all of our belongings Mr PK kindly informed us that since we had so much luggage he simply moved our room to the ground floor which was incredibly kind and thoughtful of him. The place is clean the location is easy to get to. I'm not sure what else you could ask for, especially given the economic price. I'm not sure why people are writing bad reviews about this place honestly they must just be very angry people.

Not at all worth the money. Very disappointing. I had high hopes. Strong sweet scent in hallway, annoying. Breakfast terrible. Floor in room was dirty. Beds are not really beds, but more like metal cots with a mattress on top. LOUD. People coming and going in hallway at all hours of the night! Do not bother with this place!

Positive: The staff was always friendly Negative: Housekeeping wasn't done daily unless asked.

We had to find a place on short notice, our dog had surgery and we did not want to travel 3 1/2 hours back home. The price was more than affordable. Location to animal hospital was ideal. Heat worked well in the room. Bed was moderately comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff was kind. Reason for four stars - toilet flushed fine but had to jiggle handle to make it stop running and the rod holding shower curtain was sagging causing it to not stay closed. I would stay here again.

Describing this business as a hell hole would be an understatement. The guy behind the counter tried to charge me an extra $20 bucks for checking in early. He changed his mind when he noticed I was recording the encounter with my glasses. Moving forward to the room. I pulled the sheets off and inspected the bed. There was dryed blood on the corner of the bed it looked fresh and it looked like they tried to clean it, and in the center there was dry old blood. you can verify what I’m saying from the pictures I’ve taken. The rest room was dirty too. I didn’t see any bed bugs but I certainly wasn’t taking any chances so I told the guy P.K was his name I’m checking out. He said he was going to issue me a refund but that didn’t happen either. The reservation was like $65 bucks so it’s not a big
