Quality Inn Palm Bay - Melbourne I-95

*EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM BUSINESS* My parents were in town for a funeral for a very close family friend. A few others gathered with them to visit because they live in Tennessee! THIS IS NORMAL! We asked ahead of time about using the lobby area to play games and to let a few of the kids swim and we were told YES YOU CAN by the staff member initially. Then randomly everything was closing. NO ONE was trespassed but yes they did attempt to, which was WILD because no one asked us to leave. My mom said she was leaving after the way we were treated and then suddenly the police arrived and we were "trespassed" by the staff. No report was filed, the officer I spoke with laughed about it and said if you had asked me I would have told you to never stay at this place. Take it from him and me......se

This hotel’s location is excellent, which is the main reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and even a storage center nearby, which made our stay very convenient. Unfortunately, the rooms were disappointing. The paint job looked sloppy — almost like a child had done it — and the room felt poorly maintained overall. The toilet was loose, and the shower floor was peeling. The beds were low quality and ended up hurting our backs after just one night. The early front desk staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the late afternoon employee spent hours talking with customers, didn’t make the cookies that were supposed to be available, and made guests wait for towels and other supplies. I would love to give this property higher marks because it is in a great location, easy to get to and the staff are first class and very pleasant. However the property itself dispute the reviews isn’t really up to standard. I will admit that some of the issues might have been resolved if we had complained at the start, but sheer tiredness and then a reluctance to do so due to only being there for 6 nights put us off. Well that and the general reluctance of brits to complain.||First the good bits. If you are staying in this area then the location is perfect with good parking and easy to get to. The area around the hotel has ample eating places and the staff at the hotel are very friendly and professional.||Now the bad. The hotel definitely feels old. The room we were staying in 304

Update: photos included to show aged filth. I guess people who can’t clean somewhere people sleep, provide refunds for their garbage amenities and service, and manage the hotel sitting in the truck smoking cigarettes .. also make up events that never happened to cover theirselves. I bet the hotel can’t provide proof that I was “thrown out”. lol. Sounds like a great cover story. Total rat trap! Like I said: Rudest staff ever. The manager is the worst of them all. Rooms are disgusting. They randomly close the pool and the lobby. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was full of mold and musty. It required a dehumidifier that was in the room when we arrived, and the staff did not empty it, hence the carpet around it was WET, not damp - WET. The day prior to the trip, I called the hotel front desk to change my reservation. I was told I was speaking to the front desk. I asked specifically for queen beds and was told I would be able to have a room with 2 queen beds. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told I was speaking to a call center. The staff claims they have no queen beds, and we slept in a full-size bed. We had 3 guests, all 6'+ tall, all over 200 pounds. Full-size beds were too small.
