Hyatt Place Melbourne / Palm Bay / I-95

My husband and I were visiting our new grandbaby when we happened upon this gem in Melbourne. The GM Marcello helped us out because I had erroneously booked the incorrect dates and he resolved our issue quickly and with grace. I loved the extreme cleanliness of this place and I always saw someone cleaning or wiping. I also loved the key card for the electricity (lighting) in the room and I've never had a hotel that had this feature. The rooms were very ample in size, clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower had a wonderful forceful water pressure (hot water instant), the air was set comfortably without my having to modify it and more. Positive: The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic! The fitness center was great! The hotel and room far exceeded expectations as the price was low. We stay in hotels often and this one fit all our needs for a family of 4. (11 & 9 year olds) Negative: The shower pressure wasn?t great and the pool was on the cooler side.

PHENOMENAL! This hotel was not only accommodating, but the front desk staff was incredibly kind and comforting after we arrived following a truly horrific experience at our originally scheduled inn. They welcomed us on very short notice, clearly explained all the amenities, and even added complimentary parking, which was greatly appreciated. This was our first time visiting Florida, and staying at the Hyatt Place made the remainder of our trip so much more enjoyable. I will absolutely book here again. Breakfast was real food with daily variety, and everything we tried was excellent. The area is clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. I love my stay there every single time I visit my family. The rooms are clean. It is quiet. Breakfast is good. Pool is clean and I believe heated in the winter... my recent stay was to visit my daughter and meet my newborn grand daughter l. My family was able to come in the room and sit comfortably and give my daughter some breathing room at the same time. I have been to this hotel 3 times so far and I definitely make it my first search when looking for a room when I come.

Overall the stay was okay. The breakfast was very sub par and was out of a lot of items when we went to get breakfast, which was on a Saturday only an hour after breakfast had started. We stayed for 3 nights and never once did house keeping come in to tidy. We were also out of soap in the bathroom shower. Lastly, we were charged for parking on our bill even though we didn’t have a car there. Still, the beds were cozy and clean, the tv easy to stream to, and the location was good. I don’t think it was worth the price though.
