Quality Inn McDonough Atlanta South

Me and my wife arrived the evening of our stay we both took showers after driving about 6 hours then we went out The next morning we wanted to take a shower again before we hit the road so we had to have clean towels and wash clothes to take a shower. Called the front desk and the gentleman there informed me they do not give more towels on the departure day I was like are you serious so I grabbed my used towels and walked up to the front desk to exchange them for some fresh ones and he said again we do not give towels to guests on checkout day. Why spend money when you can’t even get towels to take showers. I recommend not staying at this hotel.

Positive: The staff is nice and accommodating Negative: It's broken down, no ice machine, cracked ceilings, missing smoke alarms, stairs had pieces missing, whole hotel smelled like cigarettes (I'm allergic)

We booked 3 rooms for our large family of 11. Once we got to the hotel, they had to cancel and redo the reservations because my dad was paying and I was the one that had reserved it. I've never had that issue at a hotel as long as we were both present and had our I'd and credit card. All of their paperwork is not digital so we had to sign a bunch of papers for each room. Check in took about 20-30 minutes. Longest check in for a hotel I've ever had. While the beds were comfortable and clean, the bathtub had a leak so that it was running the whole time. The bathroom had quite a bit of mold on the seals of the door. The only reason I'm giving it 2 starts is because we desperately needed 3 rooms and the beds were clean. Needed a place to stop on my way through that would accept pets and isn't a bazilion dollars. The room was adequate for a 6 hour nap. Clean- mostly: Microwave was still flashing 3 seconds so not sure how thorough the cleaning was but the sheets/bed looked fresh and NO signs of bugs upon close inspection. AC worked great and shower got hot (after running for 3-5 minutes). This was room 114 for the mgmt (if you look at this stuff): the tub doesn't drain so a quick shower had water to my ankles. The hairdryer plug was busted open and did not not work (I was brave/stupid enough to try plugging it in). The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. 3-stars because I literally just needed a place to crash for a couple hours with the dogs (after eating at Culvers across the street). If it cost more

The place is run down holes in the walls smells nasty curtains broke wouldn't close right. Then I only had one washcloth asked for another washcloth and you would of thought it was a sin to ask for more linens. Said people steal them and thats my fault so you have an attitude because I asked for another one. Stains on carpet and bed spread had something all over it. People I would of went somewhere else. Next time I will.
