Quality Inn Lynchburg near University

Where to start?! Half the room's outlets did not work. Drawer missing from dresser. TV only displayed half of the channels, listed channel then "no signal." Located on major road with VERY loud vehicles passing all night. Vertually no sound proofing. Always felt good with Choice Hotels. May need to rethink that. Anyone giving a good rating has very low standards and/or expectations!

It wasn’t very clean, sheets were disgusting, stains on them, the floor had crumbs by the bed. The shower tub want cleaned well, the mirror had toothpaste splashings on it & some beard shavings in the sink & the tv only had 3 channels that were able to watch

Do not waste your time considering this hotel. It’s not right. The smell is off. It’s some kind of weird musty smell. They don’t have an elevator. The carpets are filthy. When I went to my room, it also had that weird smell. The comforters were wrinkled and one of them was a little soiled. I decided them that I could not stay for the two nights that I reserved. I called the 1-800 # to let them know that I couldn’t do 2 nights as previously reserved. By the way, we had two rooms. Okay, I was told since I had already checked in, I had to go to the front desk and let them know. Okay, so back to the front desk, I go. |I explained that I would not need the 2 nights and he said “okay, no problem, just come down before 11:00”. I was grateful because I could not do this room for 2 nights. It was

Good: Location, staff service, breakfast options included waffles and eggs Bad: Outdated building, no elevator, dirty rooms- stained linens, hair in sink and shower, dirty carpet. I switched rooms due to how dirty the first room was. The second room was only slightly better, but I still stripped the bed of the disgusting comforter and slept just with sheets. I was only there for one night, otherwise I would have found another hotel.

Nice staff, breakfast fair, rooms clean and quiet. TV reception was pixelated. Would have liked to have had my 6 rooms on first floor by parking lot rather than 2nd floor due to being seniors. Otherwise pricing was correct and rooms were ready upon arrival.
