Quality Inn Lincoln Cornhusker

The owner/manager is pro-Veteran. I am here for a series of nights and the staff has been very accommodating to my needs as a disabled veteran. Clean rooms, good mattress and all amenities work. Pool, and exercise room are great. You do have to run hot water for a few minutes to get hot water to the room, but then it is plenty hot. Continental breakfast is great, too.

The hotel was not very clean, overall. There was some kind of a nasty smear on the edge of the tub, which was full of hairs...of all kinds. The breakfast bar has a threatening sign saying if you take food to your room, there is a massive charge. I ate one bagel and the cream cheese was suspect, so I couldn't finish it. I didn't even bother with breakfast after that. Every time I stepped into the lobby, it felt like they had just sprayed some kind of chemical disinfectant to mask odors. That was really hard on my lungs. The beds were actually pretty comfortable, but the sheets were inside out and seemed too small or the elastic had lost its grip, because the fitted sheet kept sliding up and wouldn't hold on the corners of the bed, which was very annoying. I mistakenly booked a reservation here and immediately called to cancel. I was told there is nothing I could do at the moment and had to call back the next day. When I called back, I was refused any help, and after repeatedly trying to explain the situation (and how quickly I tried to rectify it to avoid losing the hotel any business), was pointed back to a no-refunds policy. I cannot understand why anyone would ever choose to stay at the Cornhusker given such an unsympathetic staff and front desk. You’re better off trying anywhere else.

Great value and exceptional comfort! We shared a room for a business meeting. The location was well within a short drive to downtown and saved us LOTS of money! While the decor was a bit old - who cares? Our room was nice and roomy, had a fridge and a microwave, very comfortable beds - the sheets were the best ever! Nice fluffy pillows and plenty of them. The air temperature was easy to manage and worked quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. Really not one bad thing to say about this motel. Next time I have to stay in Lincoln, this will be my motel.

found a roach in our room, they were super understanding and issued a refund right away. our bathroom was not clean, there was a soap wrapper and glob of hair behind our door. the chair in our room also had a questionable white stain on it. friendly staff, not so pleasant place.
